Before using laboratory spray dryer, please complete the startup preparations according to the steps below to ensure experimental safety and stable equipment operation. Systematically following these steps can effectively improve experimental efficiency and extend the equipment's service life.

Before using mini spray dryer, the following preparations are required:

1. Material preparation and cleaning: Prepare the experimental materials; clean the cooling water tank and feed tank; check the feed pump and feed lines for leaks. Fill the cooling water tank with water and pour the feed liquid into the feed tank.

2. Adjust feed rate: Regulate the flow using the peristaltic feed pump.

3. CCheck for leaks and blockages: Ensure that static equipment, piping, and static sealing points are free from any escaping, venting, dripping, or leaking, and are not obstructed.

4. Check pipeline seals: Install sealing materials at pipeline connections and secure them tightly to prevent unheated ambient air from entering the drying chamber.

5. Check doors and observation windows: Ensure the doors and observation windows are closed securely and are airtight.

6. Check electrical systems and discharge valves: Verify the operation of electrical interlocks, electronic instruments, and valves; securely attach the discharge valves at the bottom of the main cylinder and the cyclone separator—ensuring they are clean, dry, and properly sealed with gaskets in place before tightening.

7. Start the centrifugal fan: Press the start button and verify that the centrifugal fan is rotating in the correct direction.

8. Lubricate the atomizer motor: Add oil to the atomizer motor's oil inlet until the level is above the halfway mark of the sight glass, then start the oil circulation pump.

9. Open the regulating butterfly valve: Check that the regulating butterfly valve at the centrifugal fan outlet is open. Note: Do not close the butterfly valve completely, as this will damage the electric heater and the air inlet piping.

10. Check the feed pump: Ensure the feed pump piping is correctly connected and that the motor and pump are rotating in the correct direction.

11. Install the spray head: Mount the spray head at the top of the drying chamber, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leakage.
